How Location Is Used

This app uses your location while you are actively using the app to enable the following features:

• Bus Proximity & ETA: To show your position in relation to your assigned bus and provide estimated arrival information.
• Optional Attendance: When your assigned bus is moving and the app is open, your location may be used to support optional attendance detection.
• Proximity Alerts: To calculate when the bus is approaching your stop while you are using the app.

Your location is used only while you are actively using the app. SCEP Bus Tracker does not require or request access to your location when the app is in the background or closed.
