✅ Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the SCEP Bus Tracking Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Satpuda College of Engineering & Polytechnic, Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh, India, governing your use of the SCEP Bus Tracking Application.

👤 Eligibility

The SCEP Bus Tracking Application is available exclusively to the following authorized users:

• Students: Currently enrolled students of Satpuda College of Engineering & Polytechnic
• Parents/Guardians: Parents or legal guardians of enrolled students
• Faculty: Teaching and academic staff of the institution
• Administrators: Authorized college administrators and transport management personnel
• Staff: Non-teaching staff members authorized by the college administration

Unauthorized access or use of this application is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

📜 User Responsibilities

As a user of the SCEP Bus Tracking Application, you agree to the following responsibilities:

• Accurate Information: You must provide truthful, accurate, and complete information during registration and maintain updated details
• Credential Protection: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and must not share your account with others
• No Misuse: You must not use the app for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• No Unauthorized Access: You must not attempt to access systems, data, or accounts that you are not authorized to access

Any violation of these responsibilities may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

📍 Bus Tracking Services

The SCEP Bus Tracking Application provides real-time GPS-based bus location tracking for college transport vehicles. While we strive to provide accurate and reliable tracking information, please note the following:

• Internet Connectivity: Tracking accuracy depends on stable internet connectivity on both the bus device and your phone
• Weather Conditions: Adverse weather may affect GPS signal quality and accuracy
• GPS Limitations: GPS signals may be affected by tunnels, tall buildings, dense foliage, or other obstructions
• Network Coverage: Weak cellular network coverage in certain areas may cause temporary tracking interruptions
• Device Compatibility: Tracking performance may vary based on your device's hardware and software capabilities

The college is not responsible for decisions made based on tracking data that may be temporarily inaccurate due to the factors listed above.

🎫 Digital Bus Pass

The SCEP Bus Tracking Application offers digital bus pass functionality subject to the following terms:

• Personal Use Only: Digital bus passes are non-transferable and must only be used by the registered user
• Valid Registration: Bus passes are issued only to users with valid, verified registrations
• Display on Request: Users must present their digital bus pass when requested by transport staff
• Misuse Consequences: Any misuse, duplication, or sharing of digital bus passes will result in immediate pass suspension and potential disciplinary action

📷 Bus Pass Photo Upload

The SCEP Bus Tracking Application allows students to upload a profile photo for their digital bus pass. The following terms apply:

• Free Uploads: Each student is allowed up to 3 photo uploads per academic year at no cost
• Photo Requirements: Uploaded photos must be clear, recent, and appropriate for official identification purposes
• Storage: Photos are stored securely on our servers and used exclusively for bus pass identification
• Limit: After 3 uploads in a year, no further photo changes are permitted until the next academic year

For issues with photo uploads, please contact the college administration or our support team.

🚫 Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts without prior notice in the following circumstances:

• Fake Information: Providing false, misleading, or fabricated personal information during registration
• Fraudulent Activity: Engaging in bus pass duplication or misrepresentation of identity
• Abuse: Harassing other users, staff, or misusing the platform's communication features
• Security Violations: Attempting to hack, exploit vulnerabilities, or compromise the system's security

Suspended accounts may appeal by contacting the college administration with a written explanation.

©️ Intellectual Property

All intellectual property associated with the SCEP Bus Tracking Application is owned by Satpuda College of Engineering & Polytechnic. This includes but is not limited to:

• Logos & Branding: The SCEP logo, app icon, and all associated branding materials
• Software: Application source code, architecture, algorithms, and technical implementations
• Content: All text, images, graphics, and multimedia content within the application
• Design: User interface designs, layouts, and visual elements

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use of any intellectual property is strictly prohibited.

⚠️ Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Satpuda College of Engineering & Polytechnic shall not be held liable for:

• Internet Failures: Service interruptions due to internet outages, server downtime, or connectivity issues
• GPS Inaccuracies: Incorrect or delayed location data caused by GPS signal limitations
• Force Majeure: Events beyond our control including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or civil disturbances
• Third-Party Services: Issues arising from third-party service providers (Firebase, Google Maps)
• Data Loss: Loss of data due to device failure, unauthorized access, or circumstances beyond our control

The application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

📝 Changes to Terms

Satpuda College of Engineering & Polytechnic reserves the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes become effective immediately upon being published within the application or on our website.

It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. Continued use of the SCEP Bus Tracking Application after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Significant changes may be communicated through in-app notifications or email at our discretion.

⚖️ Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to the use of the SCEP Bus Tracking Application shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh, India.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
